Anderson Reining is family owned and operated. Ryan and Kreistal both share a passion for horses and love to share it with anyone who has an interest, especially their young children.
Ryan has been riding reiners since childhood. He took a brief break from them to complete a B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah. The draw of horses however, would not let Ryan go. As with his Dad, JayDee; and brother, Jarvis; Ryan found a love for the sport and became a trainer. He has been professionally riding and showing reiners since 2002. With over $50,000 in NRHA and AQHA earnings, he has quickly proven himself to be a great trainer and a fierce competitor. Ryan has ridden with many of the top professionals and has been able to create a program that works for a diverse range of horses and riders. Whether starting from scratch with a 2 year old, or introducing reining to 22 year old mare, his able hands have taken countless horses to a competetive level.
Over the years, Ryan has found the he can successfully train a competitive and confidant reiner using soft hands. He takes his horses' well being to heart to ensure that they stay sound, both in mind and body. Ryan has produced and sold many solid show horses who continue their winning careers with their new riders, both in the Open and Non-Pro.
