Ryan Anderson Reining is a family owned and operated business.  Ryan and Kreistal both share a passion for horses and love to share it with anyone who has an interest, especially their young children.

Ryan has been riding reiners since childhood.  He took a brief break from them to complete a B.S. Degree in Psychology from the University of Utah. The draw of horses however, would not let Ryan go. Following in his Dad's footsteps, he found a love for the sport and has become a trainer. He has been professionally riding and showing reiners since 2002. With over $30,000 in NRHA and AQHA earnings, he has quickly proven himself to be a great trainer and a fierce competitor. He has ridden with many of the top professionals and has been able to create a program that works for a diverse range of horses and riders. Whether starting from scratch with a 2 year old, or introducing reining to 22 year old mare, his able hands have taken countless horses into the competetive level.
Although she grew up in Alaska, Kreistal has been riding and showing horses since the age of 12, starting with hunter/jumpers. She developed a love for starting horses as well as working with problem horses. In 2006 she completed an AAS in Equine Science from Northwest College in Powell WY. It was there, through the Intercollegiate Judging Team that she was introduced to the sport of reining. Since graduating she has worked hard to become immersed in what has become her favorite equine sport.

In 2008, Ryan and Kreistal welcomed their son Robbie into the world. He has already shown a great interest in the horses and never misses a chance to watch his Dad show or show himself. He loves to spend time at the barn and it's pretty often you will see him sit on up to four different horses in a single day.

In 2010 the Andersons added baby girl Kaitlin to the mix. She's already making eyes at all of the great horse flesh that surrounds her.

The Andersons love being able to involve their family with the horses and most of the time you will find the Anderson children  at the show.
